prayer 2014

February 2015

Please pray for our revival! Sunday evening we started revival here in Talpos. I am asking you to help us pray for these special services and I am asking you to pray specifically for our youth. There are many young people who attend church, are involved in youth activities and are respectful in God’s house, but aren’t Christians.  There are others who attend church and youth activities, but don’t seem to pay much attention during Bible studies and seem to have no interest in serving God at all. Then there are many youth who come to our youth activities, but choose not to be attend church or be associated with God or the church at all.  I am asking you to help me prayer for these precious young people.

1.  Pray for those who are sitting on the fence will choose to become part of God’s family.

2.  Pray that God’s Word will soften the hearts of those who seem to be hardened.

3.  Pray that each young person will truly repent of their sins and experience full and free salvation.

Here are the different activities I am asking you to help us pray about:

  1. Christmas program with the children: On Christmas Eve, the children from Kid’s Klub will be sharing the message of the birth of Jesus through a play and several songs. Many children will have family members, who normally don’t come to church, attending this special service. Our prayer is that God will speak to their hearts this Christmas Eve.

  1. Christmas program with the youth: The day after Christmas the youth will be having their annual Christmas program. Many of their family and friends will also be attending this special service. Please pray that God will use us as we share of Emmanuel, God with us.

  1. Christmas caroling: The young people will be out caroling to the shut-ins throughout the village on December 24th and 25th.   It’s a time of encouragement for our brothers and sisters in Christ who are not able to attend our special Christmas services and also a time to minister to family members who are visiting a sick or elderly loved one during the Holidays. Please pray for us as we again have this wonderful occasion to share of God’s great love to us.

  1. Gift giving:  Because of the generosity of so many, Christmas packs will be given out to underprivileged children and families, church kids, teens and orphans. As we hand out these gifts, in the name of Jesus, it’s a wonderful opportunity to share of the ultimate gift that God gave to us so many years ago.

  1. I would ask you to please continue to pray about my residency papers. In this first phase, it normally takes 7-10 days to receive some sort of response, but there has been no news for 15 days in regards to my request. Everything seems to be in order with my paperwork and I have no idea why there has been no reply from the offices in Bucharest. Please help me pray that God would work out every detail according to His plan and His time.

  1. Please pray for Tibi. He has decided to move to England to work for at least a year. He will be leaving on Tuesday. Unfortunately, Tibi is not a Christian and for some time has shown little interest in the things of God.  But I know that God has a plan and purpose for everything in Tibi’s life and that wherever he is, God is able to speak to his heart.   Please help us pray for Tibi.

September 9th, 2014

  1. Please pray that my residency permit will be extended (hopefully for five years). My request is currently being processed
  2. Please pray for the children and teens. They return to school on September 15th. Many face temptations and are among other students who are not Christians. They need God’s help.
  3. Please pray for Tibi. He has an important decision to make about his future. Please pray that God will direct Him.
