What a joy it was to again this year, to be able to give a gift, in the name of Jesus to those who have so little. Due to the generosity of many, this year Christmas gifts were given out to gypsy children, underprivileged families, church children, teens and our children from the House of Hope. Each gift was received with joy and thanksgiving. For many, these bags full of “goodies”, were the only gift that they received. Thanks to each and every one of you that made it possible for us to make Christmas extra special for so many. God bless you!

It has been a loooong time since I have blogged. So I hope to catch you all up on what has been going on here in the past few months. I apologize for sharing this information so late, but I guess I will use the very famous saying, “better late than never!”

Christmas packs:

For the past several years the children from the House of Hope have helped to make our Christmas packs. The kids are thrilled to be part of helping others in need. All of the orphans know what it’s like to live in poverty and it wasn’t too long ago when they would have been thrilled to receive a bag full of goodies.   This year we made several different packs, one for the children from Kid’s Klub, one for the gypsy children in Batar and also several food packs. This year we decided to encourage the orphans to pay it forward. We took packs to families that our children used to live with, or a person who helped to take care of them before they arrived at the House of Hope.  As we visited them, it was a stark reminder of the poverty that each child came from, the situations they have been brought out of and how God gave them a different future since living at the House of Hope.   Thank you all who gave for our Christmas packs. A special thank you to Lebanon GMC who donated a large portion of the funds needed for this endeavor. God bless you!

Sunday evening we started revival here in Talpos. I am asking you to help us pray for these special services and I am asking you to pray specifically for our youth.

There are many young people who attend church, are involved in youth activities and are respectful in God’s house, but aren’t Christians.

There are others who attend church and youth activities, but don’t seem to pay much attention during Bible studies and seem to have no interest in serving God at all.

Then there are many youth who come to our youth activities, but choose not to be attend church or be associated with God or the church at all.

I am asking you to help me prayer for these precious young people.

  1. Pray for those who are sitting on the fence that they will choose to become part of God’s family.
  2. Pray that God’s Word will soften the hearts of those who seem to be hardened.
  3. Pray that each young person will truly repent of their sins and experience full and free salvation.

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9

We are in a battle for souls and we need prayer-warriors.  God hears the prayers of His people. Thank you for praying!
